1. I stayed in Marriott and Embassy suites which are comparable hotels 2 blocks away before, and here is my comparison to these hotels:Worse in Renaissance:* Room i had was a bit of a weird setup, big room with all comfort but only a tiny window to a courtyard that made it quite dark* Gym is a bit small, only few machines, and some of them defective* no poolBetter in Renaissance:* Hotel Bar is very nice with a lot of lounge place and is open at least until midnight, in other hotels in DC it closes at 11 pm* In room dining quality is definitely better* Illy coffee shop on ground floor provides excellent coffee and pastries (for everybody that is not looking for Starbucks)The quality of the bed and room servicing is great.
