1. We slept with the window open to let in some cold air but it was so noisy outside with sirens going all night long.

Run down shabby lobby , very very rude man checked me in and was not happy when I asked to change rooms as he gave me a ground floor room number 109 which faced the traffic intersection , be moved me 2 floors up same room , 309 , very noisy from traffic , air con partly broken and rickety , severe vibration noise .

9. The only thing we would have changed would be to ask for a room at the back - ours was 6th floor overlooking Pennsylvania Avenue and was a bit noisy.
