2. All in all although this was our first stay at a Hampton Inn it most certainly would not be our last and if anyone is looking to stay in the DC area I would definitely recommend this hotel.

5. Even if you weren't staying for an event or exhibition at the nearby Convention Centre, I'd still recommend this hotel as it's only a short walk from buses, rail, shopping, restaurants and of course the Mall and all the excellent DC museums and sights.

7. It was a bit noisy with buses/traffic, so you are sensitive to that I would recommend trying a room on the other side of the building.
