3. website, you can load the card with however much money you think you will need (we ordered two $30 cards) which will take care of all your transportation needs - it can be used on the Circulator (costs just $1.00 a ride - even all the way to Georgetown), the busses, and the Metro.

4. we purchased some deli chicken one nite and drinks etc. (dont forget to get the safeway discount card) There is also a subway sandwich place nearby which helped save money also.

5. We booked at a really good rate for a hotel- I did notice parking was $32, we didn't have to park since we metro-ed in but this seemed a bit cheaper than most hotels in town which we were in the $40 range, so I think this hotel is a good value for your money.

8. A full breakfast ( hot) buffet was inlcuded which saved us a great deal of money since it carried is through to dinner with a light snack and drink.
