1. This hotel has a lovely upstairs observation deck that has seating for probably 30 people in the front of the building that is private and away from most of the rooms.

2. Here were the best things about my stay at the Ala Mar: drinking wine and eating snacks on the upper deck overlooking the beach, being allowed to wander over to the Villa Rosa for a dip in their hot tub (they`re affiliated properties), and location.

3. It is across from the beach and near the pier, however there is only 1 room with a good view, which we had but the view was obstructed by the hotels ugly deck.
