1. The shower door folds back against the wall when not in use, as does the curtain, with the result that the bathroom appears much more spacious without a separate shower stall.

2. In the bathroom there is no separate shower but instead a creative glass door with curtain which worked quite well.

3. Its a European styled shower which we we were fine with but the main door for the restroom was made of frosted glass and didn't have a lock and had a small space between the glass and the wall so you were able to still see in the restroom when the glass door was closed.

The renovation probably did the best job one can do with such an old building, however, the soundproof is poor in the rooms that I could hear noise coming from all four walls - TV next door to me, the shower running in the room above, chatting in the hallway and worst of all, the hotel is right next to a busy train crossing that the horns will wake you up at 5am EVERY DAY.

5. Then there's the super loud fan in the shower room (that is on as soon as you switch on the light) - so loud that you can hear your neighbour's as clearly as if it was your own.
