1. Sure, the refurb looks nice enough - some stylish furnishings, etc, but a good night's sleep and a comfortable room is far more important.

2. Some of the ground floor rooms have lovely little patios, so that really opens up the space if you enjoy being outside.

3. Brett welcomed us when we checked in and pointed us to our room 'just past the Does This Sign Make Me Look Fat sign' (one of the many pieces of contemporary art adding to the unique style of the hotel).

4. Speaking of coffee, while it's great to have it in the room (it's in the lobby as well), the hotel provides that horrible powdered coffee 'lightener'--come on, spring for some half and half packets.

10. Don't think we would come back but if for some reason we found ourselves back here again we would definitely book separate rooms for more comfort and not pay extra for a patio/garden room.
