Location right across from East Beach was great - beautiful views, walking paths all the way down to the pier and marina, and easy walk or trolley ride to State Street restaurants and shops (check out the Palace Grill - amazing Cajun/Creole; excellent craft beer selection at Union Ale Brewery and Santa Barbara Brewery).

9. I would probably check out other places to stay for a nicer room if I returned to Santa Barbara, but this is a good place to stay if you want a great view and to be across the street from the beach.
