1. The best points about it are: 1) Location - you just need to cross the road to get to the beach and a good selection of restaurants are nearby as well as the pier and the marina.

2. Probably 15 minutes to reach the main street with it's shops, restaurants and the wonderful Santa Barbara Brewing Company but if half of that is strolling along by the beach & sea, what's not to like.

7. It's an old stagecoach stop and has a beautiful restaurant but we went on a Sunday afternoon and there was a trip-tip bbq with a band playing.
