1. However, the location is the best if you want to be right on the Santa Barbara harbor at a very reasonable price.

2. In summary, the West Beach Inn provided good quality accomodation at a sensible price and if/when we come back to Santa Barbara in the future, it is highly likely that we would want to stay there again.

5. When we arrived, our room was 'garden view' but was totally inadequate for the price, small and dark and more expensive than a pretty plush hotel in Pacific Heights where we got two rooms for our money - so check exactly what you are getting before you go.

6. this made sense price wise - cant remember exactly but rate paid was around $150free cheese/biscuits/wine on arrival meant we didnt need any dinner that night!heated pool/jacuzzi was really nicei thought it was good valueyeah it obviously used to be a motel but rooms were of a high standard.

7. So here's the best way I can put it - if the same room (breakfast, pool, etc.) was located at a motel off an interstate in Ohio, the price would likely be in the $75 price range.

10. The room is a little pricey at $200 for a garden room, but hotels in that area are very expensive, so it was a decent price.
