The room was clean and recently remodeled; wireless internet was fast and free; the pool was very cold, but when the managers saw me in it, they turned on the heat and it was good to go by the next day (they said they keep off the heat during the low season because nobody uses it), though I did find a cigarette butt in the water.

So, as for the pluses: pretty much across the street from the beach so great for morning jobs, parking is free and ample and you don't need to give your keys (ie, no valent take your car so no annoying waiting), you can walk to get coffee and bagels at the strip mall 10min walk away if you don't feel like getting in the car, and free WIFI.
