1. We only live about 30 miles north of downtown SD, but when we are attending a play or concert downtown we like to stay overnight.

2. It employs a friendly & helpful staff, is in a central location in walking distance from a number of bars/restaurants (one of which is right in the same building) and has a great rooftop patio overlooking downtown SD, Petco Park, Coronado & the bay.
