1. After a very comfortable shower, a visit to one of the aforementioned restaurants, and enjoyment of the hotel's rooftop terrace, we went back to our room to turn down the bed.

Brilliant location, comfortable rooms with quality bedding, good shower, high grade meeting rooms, great food - one of the best steaks I've ever had, anywhere, good breakfast and coffee (although a slightly limited menu, the limited choice obviously adds to the value equation and, with Little Italy just around the corner, it doesn't matter!).

3. The bathroom had separate tub and standing shower which was a nice touch on the other hand.

4. Despite this the room was spacious, the shower was great, and the coffee making facilities were very much appreciated - please note that the coffee comes in it's own filter, like a big tea bag, so don't think you can't use it because there aren't any filter papers.

10. I heard footsteps through out the night, trash cans being dragged out, people talking, showers running, airplanes landing (since it was very close to SD airport), and drills going off (building next door was being renovated).
