THE GOOD* Fun, trendy hotel with friendly staff* Cool, funky neighborhood in Little Italy that is eminently walkable if you can handle slight hills; good dining selections (and gelato for dessert!) nearby* Free breakfast is top notch in their fourth floor, ocean view restaurant* Rooms are beautiful; I especially liked the simple but spacious bathroomTHE BAD* The unusual toilet was difficult to operate (if not broken)* They need to add another elevator -- we nearly missed our train waiting for it* There were no mugs or cups in our rooms due to a shortage of some sort, though they said we could swing by the restaurant and get some (which I did)* The facade and lobby of the building are quite elegant and modern, but when you get off the elevator at your floor the impression is that of a slightly renovated 1960's apartment building -- if that matters to youOverall this hotel has a lot of character and is a good value -- I would return.
