We're on a road trip from San Francisco to Miami with two young children and are being sensible with money, we've splurged on some nice hotels and to give you an image of who we are as travellers we are a white middle class English family who were travelling with a car full of expensive electronics and kids Xmas presents.

8. The fee that was charged to your account for failing to arrive before 9pm will then be refunded, but (depending on your bank) it might not make it back into your account immediately, so if you were counting on that money being in your account, it's something to take into consideration.
