1. When we drove up to the hotel we were nervous because of the cinder block barracks-like exterior, but when we walked in the gate we were astonished to see beautiful landscaped gardens and a well maintained courtyard.

2. We had a room in the front of the hotel which is inside with interior entrance, which I liked because you could open the window for fresh air without being exposed to people walking by, like the exterior entrance rooms, even though those rooms have the nice grounds to look at.

3. The gates just lock in the interior for security and I think to make it a hotel instead of motel, because the rooms have exterior entrances.

Though the exterior of the hotel is not inviting, with access limited by security gates, it's picturesque interior and flowered foulage throughout created an ambiance of solitude and the beauty of strolling through a botanical garden complete with a small flowing fountain, a decent sized swimming pool, and a nice warm jacuzzi.
