1. While it is a little bit tired in places, this hotel is great value for money and close to everything including the Amtrak train station.

Having stayed in San Diego multiple times, I think there are many hotels that are a much better value with a little nicer look and feel to them where I know I have slept much better since people didn't stand right outside my door screaming at 7 am (I mean every morning we were there, for at least an hour and a half the screaming and banging occurred).
