The hotel is perfectly in the the middle of sea world, zoo etc. and downtown as well as to shopping malls; however that requires having a car - btw parking on the street is for free, so you dont need
to park
it on the hotel lot.

Front desk was very accommodating in allowing us
to park
our car full of dorm room items in the underground parking facility without forcing us to valet and pay the additional fee.

Lucky that most people like
to park
in the hotel, so we got a spot on the street every day.

So, in addition to the cost for the room, I had to pay an additional $27 to be able
to park
or work from my room.

There is a charge
to park
but if you are a Marriott Elite member you get your own parking lot and hotel entrance which is pretty cool.

The front desk associate also was sympathetic to our car full of stuff and said that it was ok
to park
in the valet area, but to just let them know.
