Adding in the
parking
charge, it just seemed like the guests are being nickled and dimed when they are already paying a premium price for a hotel room.

Maybe I was just jaded because I had just stayed at an Embassy where everything is complimentary and the staff are more than willing to make your stay comfortable but the unexpected
parking
and wi-fi charges really burned me up.

The hotel is perfectly in the the middle of sea world, zoo etc. and downtown as well as to shopping malls; however that requires having a car - btw
parking
on the street is for free, so you dont need to park it on the hotel lot.

Front desk was very accommodating in allowing us to park our car full of dorm room items in the underground
parking
facility without forcing us to valet and pay the additional fee.

Specifically chose this hotel as opposed to the Sheraton across the freeway because we had a car full of belongings and felt that the Marriott`s
parking
situation would offer better security.

The desk always greeted my when I came in from the front
parking
lot (I conned the valets into letting me into the prestigious Elite lot in back on two nights).

Parking
fees were way out of line ($15/20 self/valet) given the hotel is in the middle of nowhere - as in - you have to drive to do anything include eat outside the hotel.
"If you have to stay in Mission Valley, this is good as any. "
