1. While not on the ocean, this Marriott is still very convenient to the water as well as downtown, Qualcomm stadium, San Diego State University and is conveneitnet to all the major highways.

7. the hotel is not beach adjacent or downtown, it is in a central location near to freeways, no more than 15 minutes from either beach or downtown, and looked like a great place to stay with a one year old.

8. The hotel is perfectly in the the middle of sea world, zoo etc. and downtown as well as to shopping malls; however that requires having a car - btw parking on the street is for free, so you dont need to park it on the hotel lot.

10. 8 miles from Sea World, 13 miles to Coronado Island, trolley to downtown, shopping mall across the street, and the best part is the very friendly, smiling, & courteous staff, from smooth check-in to no hassle check-out.
