1. Govt workers received free parking, vouchers for downstairs cafe (indigo cafe $10 lunch $15 dinner).

2. The only reason I tolerated it at all was because it didn't look like the parking garage could hold enough cars for every guest to park there - if parking had been free, I probably wouldn't have gotten a space.

4. I find the $16 a day parking fee to be reasonable for the area, but it's extremely tight and a pain to get your car in or out.

10. Another perk was the staff gave us free parking for our car (which you WILL need in San Diego, everything is a car ride away!) because the quote they got for car hire came out more expensive than one we had.
