7. Although it seems unexciting - it is basically in the middle of a business park so is not a good choice if you don`t have a car - it is only about a 15-20 minute drive to downtown San Diego and 10-15 minutes` drive to Del Mar, La Jolla and Solana Beach so you have the option to go in either direction for dinner, beach or entertainment.

10. Room service menu was not terribly appetizing (who wants a steak or salmon dinner in their room?!) so I ended up ordering a kid's plate of pasta (which they initially messed up) and a side of vegetables for $25.
