3. People that are sensitive to noisy (sirens, ventilation, next door room doors) DO NOT STAY HERE and recommend to take an hotel at Coronado (superb beach) or La Jolla (as second choice), it is 10-15 minutes drive if you want to come for dinner in town.

4. This great hotel is perfectly located for the Gaslamp quarter and all bus routes to the beaches etc. The room was clean and very nicely decorated and the staff polite and helpful.

5. Inexpensive transportation is easy with buses to popular locations (airport, Balboa Park, ocean beaches and other 'tourist attractions') are within a block, the trolley within 2 blocks and the Amtrak station within about 4 blocks.

7. Especially because I wasn't given an option, they just added this to the billthey have beach cruiser bikes for you to rent at no cost (probably included with the 'amenities' charge.

9. Best of all the Hotel has bikes for the asking so for two days my partner and I biked all over SD even as far as Ocean Beach.

10. The hotel is in a perfect location with convenient access to downtown, as well as Balboa Park, harbor view, Lille Italy, Seaworld, Zoo, and short drive to beaches, La Jolla, etc. Nice clean room, but somewhat smalll.
