1. It was far enough from the highway that we didn't hear road noise, but we faced the courtyard with the pool so heard the revelers in the hot tub until they closed it down at 10 PM.

(NOTE: We found their highway and road system complicated to negotiate because everything is named virtually the same thing, bypasses do not go in intuitive directions and you never know if there's an on-ramp at the same place you take an off-ramp -- so having it convenient and easily accessible to the highway was a plus!)HOTEL PUBLIC AREAS: The hotel is charming in its way and well-kept.
