Our issue with this hotel is the location-it is a long way from any restaurants, bars, shops etc. It is very close to the I-5 which makes it convenient for San Diego's big time attractions but not so good if after a hard days sightseeing you just want to pop out to a local haunt for a meal or just to relax as this involved a major drive.

3. While outside dining options throughout San Diego are delicious, the evening reception is convenient and satisfying as it is accompanied by a full and fresh salad bar.

4. We got to the hotel around 6 pm and were told they were having a complimentary taco bar including beer and wine, something they offer every Monday through Thursday.
