It still surprises me that their are hotels that don't offer breakfast with all rates, but (if the

s are reading this) it is a decision factor on where to stay.

What made matters worse is, I asked for a cancellation receipt for the room that they did not have ready, and the
manager
on duty stated that the only reason I was allowed a cancellation option was because it was before 6pm, not because our room was not ready.

I called to speak with a
manager
the next morning, I was given voicemail, then called at 9:30 pm, I did not answer the call, because I was further dismayed at the time and promptness of the return call.
