1. The downside to the balcony was that it was shared (ran the length of the floor) so I didn't feel comfortable just leaving the balcony doors open but it was great to go out and feel the breeze, check out the river and passing gondolas, and the mariachi music floating up from several neighboring cafes.

6. I know most hotels keep a card on file for things like this, however here at the La Mansion, you are billed automatically and refunded 7-10 days after you check out.

7. I learned at check out that there was a technical glitch, but I don't understand why they did not figure it out earlier, as other patrons had the same problem.

8. When we went to check out I mentioned to the front desk manager that the night clerk should have at least told us about the construction since I had brought up noise as an issue from the start.
