2. If your looking for a bit of Riverwalk fun, do try the dueling piano bar 'Howling at the Moon' fun place w/ sometimes naughty lyrics, all in all highly entertaining.

4. There are couple of local - non touristy and interestign bars and restaurants very nearby, but I didn't have a chance to visit them.

5. Ruth Chris steak house is across the street plus several quaint bars and eateries are within walking distance - there was also a bicycle rental station as well as a bus and trolley station located just behind the hotel so that was very convenient.
