1. I don't know about all of the rooms, but my 7th floor room had an excellent view of the surrounding mountains.

2. Sometimes this means you do not always get a prime room, but at this hotel, both times our room was quite spacious, we had a room on higher floor (as requested) and the view was beautiful.
