3. The entire hotel staff (really everyone--the people at the front desk, the banquet staff, the sales manager, the catering manager, banquet captains, housekeeping, the AV company, the rooms manager, janitorial staff, etc.) was more professional and dedicated than any other hotel I've worked with.

4. I would look elsewhere like I did in subsequent trips (there is a nice HI Express just south of town) as this one is too old and high priced for the small HOT room they offered, including the slow-to-be-answered-phone and snobby desk manager.

7. Because of our situation, the managers allowed us to stay at the Holiday Inn at a reduced rate until we got back on our feet.

8. Staff was very rude, went back the next morning to talk with the front desk about the problem and was told the manager was in meeting all day when I said I wanted to talk with him.
