1. Stayed here 1 night on our way through Portland and had a great time, we chose to stay on the 'quiet' side and would recommend it for any light sleepers, we had a great kitschy room, friendly help from the staff, safe underground parking and an over all great experience.

4. The staff were friendly, helpful and also took the opportunity to take care of my parking and invite me back with a discount because of a sticky spot I noticed on the carpet in my room.

5. Final note: parking at the Jupiter Hotel is $8/day in a secured underground lot or overflow lot, but you can also find street parking for free or less.

9. Without the Doug Fir next door, the only difference between it and another cheap motel on Burnside is that it charges $8/night for parking and the others are free.
