2. Yes, the planes are noisy, and so is Interstate 5 that runs along the hotel to the bridge, but the sound proofing is excellent and as a light sleeper has never kept me awake.

4. Having never been in Portland, the hotel provided a good combination of leisure activities (Pool, Tennis Courts), views on Mt Hood and some of the Portland Bridges, shopping facilities in the immediate surroundings as well as a connection to the interstate 5 North and South.
