Tips: Parking is spendy at the hotel, so I recommend
street
parking if you're OK with feeding the meters or use one of the Smart Park lots only a few blocks from the hotel.

In order to avoid the $31 per night valet parking charge, I parked sometimes on the
street
at night for free and then at a Smart Park lot 4 blocks away during the day.

It's walking distance to all the places you need to get to: Pioneer Sq with the Max rail, shops, banks and restaurants; the downtown mall; the food trucks; Brasserie Montmarte for excellent French food and the
street
cars on 10th.

Downtown hotel parking is expensive (typically around $30) but I was able to park at metered spots overnight as I used my car in the afternoon -
street
parking is free on Sunday.

We stayed on the 9th floor facing the main
street
and it was very quiet (no traffic noise) at any time of our stay.

We parked our car across the
street
in a garage and paid a fraction of the $$ it would have cost us to valet park with the hotel itself.

So, instead of paying $62 for two days of valet parking (plus tips), I ended up paying about $12 all-inclusive between the
street
and the private lot.

If you have a car, park right behind the hotel on Adler
street
and save yourself $13/day (valet at hotel is $31!).
