We rode the MAX to the arena, we walked to Nob Hill
neighborhood
s, we walked to excellent Sushi by PSU (and easily hopped on a bus back after much sake), and walked across the street from the hotel main entrance to a great little wine bar.

Since I've been to downtown Portland a couple of times already and I found shopping within downtown is more expensive with Woodburn factory outlets or Washington Square in the
neighborhood
, next time I travel to Oregon for shopping I may not choose to stay in downtown.

The restaurant scene in the
neighborhood
is very diverse and high quality, although we did not try the steakhouse located on the hotel premises.
