1. The one thing we were really impressed about our hotel stay was the response to our 'how was your stay' card we always fill out when traveling, as a few days after we arrived home we received a very nice e-mail from the manager thanking is for our comments and for staying at Best Western.

2. the manager was flustered on a phone call because he couldnt speak spanish - instead of finding someone to help the client he answered in english and hung up!i got the room to see fireworks from the balcony - they were about 10 miles away - on the horizon you could see something small happening.

8. I wasn't sure if that was some scheme and they were going to try to charge us more for a room, but since we did pre-pay special, our credit card had already been charged so the desk clerk helping us brought out the manager and she was able to call someone and get us the right room.
