4. If you are paying out of pocket the room rates alone are reasonable but then there's a lot of add on fees- resort fee, refrigerator (optional), and breakfast (optional) which could add a lot onto your bill.

6. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful, from the reservation people who I had called a few times prior to arrival with questions, to the desk check in person, to the hotel manager when I called after check-out with a question about my bill.
