1. Yes, using your room key as VIP at Universal was nice, but the reoom cost way too much money for what you get.

2. All in all, a great hotel & well worth the extra cost to take advantage of the early park entry (WWOHP was out of this world) & fast-passes which allowed us to do much more in less time, very handy when with younger children.

3. I thought it was a shame they feel the need to charge outrageous prices for bottles of water and nuts that most likely cost them a fraction of the price tag they put on them.

4. Parking costs $15 daily too (free at disney resorts), and no free-wi-fi, plus they charge for LOCAL phone calls, so beware.

5. $ 7 for the big bottles of water) We did order a movie one night from the hotel and that cost us only $15 which was much cheaper than the 3 of us going to movies at City Walk.

8. They did, however, comp us a nice dinner at their Islands restaurant - which was a 3 course meal that would have cost about as much as much as a one night's stay, so no complaints.
