1. It was a good respite from the craziness of the French Quarter but still has plenty of grown up bars and shopping and good restaurants.

3. There's a cool little bar next door that serves food for those 'late nighters', so don't whine when you can't get room service at 3AM (again it's a resort not a hotel, so buy your own food or go next door).

4. There is also a great bar on the same block named 'Igors' that is open 24 hours a day, full of locals who are very polite and talkative.
