2. The hotel did sort this out to the best of their ability but this has left me with a huge brace for the remainder of our vacation and some pretty nasty bruises, also the costs of removing the brace back in the UK and any other damage that needs to be seen to.

10. Since I grew up in New Orleans & worked in the Quarters when I was a teenager, I've always wanted to stay in a downtown hotel & since it was our 18th wedding anniversary & we really wanted to come home & continue helping others after Katrina destroyed New Orleans, we felt even though our family members were blessed by not losing life & even though my family home was severely damaged & was being gutted & prep for repairs, we wanted to come enjoy New Orleans as Tourist, Now when I booked my stay at this hotel I was given what I felt was a great rate, however they explained that They do not offer Smoking Rooms, So I excepted the Non Smoking Room, Then I was informed about check in Times & I explained that I was Driving in from Houston & they informed me that they offer valet service & over night parking, Once I checked in I was informed that they did not allow smoking in their Rooms & that if House keeping detect the odor from Cigar/cigarette smoke in my room they would charge me for the cost of fumigating that room, so I excepted that room & did not smoke, Now the room was clean & very nice, so we went dropped our kids off at their Grand parents home & returned to the Hotel which we used the valet service & decided to have a few drinks at the Bar & then went for a stroll through the Quarters, However every thing was very pleasant,Upon checkout everything was normal however I was explained that they would adjust my bill on the next day after room service had inspected my Room, So we left & days later they issued the final bill & to my surprise, I was charged $60.00 dollars, so I called & asked why was I charged an additional $60.
