5. We are frequent visitors to New Orleans and always appreciate the size, location, friendliness and amenities of this outstanding euro-style hotel within two blocks of the Quarter; rooms are ample and tastefully furnished with high-quality linens and comfortable bath facilities; both the lobby bar and adjoining Rambla restaurant are first-rate and carefully managed; easy parking either at the hotel's own garage or a block away at the Whitney Bank parking garage; this hotel provides a lot of options (including upgrades) at reasonable rates.

6. A few highlights to the amenities include a mini fridge for you to stock at your convenience (you'll want a few cold waters to rehydrate after a night on the town!), cd player with a few authentic New Orleans based artist's cd's to enjoy (or purchase), and Aveda bath and shower products.

9. If you need to stay in that area, I would try the Omni across the street, the nearby Hilton, or even the Intercontinental (which has larger rooms and more amenities).
