7. The expected Renaissance/Marriott-calibre furnishings and service, a decent restaurant (La Cote Brasserie), fairly well-lit and safe (albeit quiet) neighborhood is only a block away from Emeril`s restaurant, yet away from the hubub of Canal Street/French Quarter.
