4. Hubs and I spent 4 nights at the Hotel Monteleone, we booked in June and got a very good price due to the renovations I guess, we were in no way bothered nor did we ever hear any noise so that was a really great deal.

Especially Mike the doorman, who once resided in my hometown of Summerville, SC; Marvin the bartender, who was patient in describing various drinks to me and made a fantastic Sazerac, Sidecar and Bloody Mary (we were there for 3 nights); Herbert Johnson and Lottie Irvin from the garage who were both so very pleasant to deal with; the maids who did a great job maintaining our room; and finally the ladies who were so wonderful to us each morning we went down to breakfast.
