3. The free, self-parking is also a MAJOR plus because most French Quarter hotels charge up to $35 to park, and you do not have immediate access to your car.

5. For the three of us; I in patent pumps and my teenage boys in sport shoes, walked everywhere (with no worry of where to park and a much more intimate view of everything along the way) and enjoyed every minute of it.

8. We were 'forced' to stay here because we were meeting my father in New Orleans, who drove and refused to pay extra to park.

10. There is also an overflow parking area across the street that the gaurd partrols as well so you can drive around all you want and always have a place to park when you come back.
