1. My friend and I got such a great rate that we figured this would be a generic or even dreary chain, but the downtown New Orleans location of Country Inn & Suites is a beautiful property that's a step above your typical Hilton Garden Inn/Hampton Inn.

3. The rooms were spacious, had that wonderful 'Old New Orleans' charm, high ceilings, comfortable beds, great staff, a charming pool area and very very reasonably priced, walking distance to all the great downtown and french quarter attractions, too.
