6. My husband and I would have been happy to walk - as everything is pretty close and sidewalks are available, but the weather was pretty cold, windy, and rainy during our stay so it was quite nice to have a warm dry ride everywhere (without paying for parking!).

7. My favorite feature was the Gaylord Opry Shuttle (to shopping or dinner or just soaking in the atmosphere of the Opryland Hotel) It was also good to know that if I got too happy at the Delta Lounge (inside Opryland Hotel) I was still within walking distance.

8. Other than the noise, we enjoyed the convience of being in walking distance of the main attractions and often did walk instead of taking the shuttle.

9. Places to eat within 5-10 minutes include several local restaurants plus chains such as Cracker Barrel, Shoney's, Bob Evans, McD's, etc.Pros: It's a short walk 5-10 minutes from the main areas for about 40% of the cost of the Gaylord.

10. The rooms were clean and fresh but you have to walk an outside balcony to get to them since the face the outside.
