Would definitely recommend the shuttle service to
downtown
area (we paid $ 30 ea for 3 day pass - unlimited trips vs the $ 20 each 1 time pass).

The hotel was directly across the street from the Gaylord Opryland Hotel with free local bus shuttle service and reasonably priced shuttle service to the
downtown
area.

There's also a great Ernest Tubb shop in the Music Valley Mall which is even better than the one
downtown
and worth spending a morning in alone, while there's plenty of museums and shops to make your stay fly by.

The only draw back for me was location, I needed to be
downtown
for 2 shows that my band was playing in and needed to take a cab a couple of times.
