1. Hotel gets points for convenient location as well as general condition/appearance but the details that make an average experience something more were defintely missing.

Its location was not terribly convenient for anywhere we wanted to go (understand it is close to the airport, but no plane noise disturbance), but road links was great and we got everywhere quickly,The staff were friendly, (the guy who gooded the eggs for breakfast was great entertainment) and the room was to a good standard.
