4. The room itself was spacious enough, lifts got to all floors, free use of business centre with free computers and internet access, free wifi.

5. In fact, though this place is expensive and pretty old, it is undergoing a large remodelling; and the front desk dude gave me a comp upgrade to a 'King Suite', which had a king bed and separate bedroom with a living room, micro, fridge, and good TV and wifi.

7. The rooms are quite allright; large tv even if not flat with a great number of channels, bathroom with both tub and shower, a large quite comfy bed and free both wireless and wired internet that worked pretty good.

9. If you expect consumate luxury then go and stay at the Mandarin Oriental, but if you are happy with a large clean comfortable room (with free Wifi) and friendly staff then I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a pre-cruise stay.
