1. Because it was after midnight, I had to meet security at the linen closet to get clean sheets and then proceed to make the bed.

3. As long as the bed has clean sheets (and trust me they get checked all the way down to the bottom), no nasty things on the floor or elsewhere, a working tv and not smelly I'm happy.

5. The room was clean and they have Holiday Inn's new line of bedding with duvets versus bed sheets, etc. The beds were comfortable and hotel/street noise was not an issue.
