Having been in Miami during what seemed to be a very busy time which coincided with the World Music Conference, Spring Break and an ATP tour event, decently priced accomodation was difficuilt to find at the last minute in South Beach and I booked the Marriott as a compromise based on the good rate ( $170 compared to $ 400 plus for South Beach hotels).
